As a sports fan, specifically a Montreal-based sports fan, this year was a tough one for me. The Montreal Expos were on the cusp of relocating to Washington DC, the NHL hockey lockout was looming (i.e. no Habs games!) and little else in the sports headlines was able to draw my attention.
